Hello my fellow photogs and friends! Canon announced a new $200 instant rebate for the Canon EOS Rebel XSi. In order to redeem the rebate you must purchase the Canon Rebel XSi kit (which includes EF-S 18-55mm IS lens) and a Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS lens together at the same time between November 29, 2009 & January 16, 2010.

When ordering through Amazon make sure you add both the EOS Rebel XSi camera kit and the EF-S 55-250mm IS Lens to your cart in order to receive the discount.

My Canon XSi Recommendations

The Canon XSi is an excellent starter camera for those looking to get superb resolution from a digital SLR. The XSi has excellent per pixel sharpness ensuring that your photos will have great clarity and vibrant color at low ISO's. Dpreview.com rated it "Highly Recommended" and said, "the XSi is capable of superb results."

I personally love the bright and crisp 3 inch LCD display, which makes browsing menus a delight. Having used the Canon XSi I can tell you that it's very responsive and great camera for mothers wanting to grab shots of fast moving kids.
